Apache, Oklahoma October 2008 November 3, 1928 ~ October 8, 2008 APACHE Funeral for Emilio "Reno" Reyna, 79, Apache, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Comanche Community Center in Apache with Hicks Boyiddle and Santiago "Ponce" Leon officiating. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the community center in Apache. Mr. Reyna died Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in Cache Creek KCA Inter-tribal Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. He was born November 30, 1928, in Houston, to Paul and Antonia Reyna Juarez. He was raised in Richmond, Texas, by his grandmother, Angela Reyna, and then moved with his mother to South Houston, Texas. He was the great-grandson of "Poncho Villa" Leo Reyna. When he was 16, he enlisted in the Merchant Marines and traveled the world. Beginning August 19, 1952, he served in the U.S. Army and was given an honorable discharge on July 30, 1960. He married Imogene Archilta Tsahtahsisko Feb. 23, 1955, in Lawton. She died April 26 2002. They made their home in the Apache/Boone area. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law: Emily and Bill Saupitty Sr., Boone; Marie and Bryan LeBarre, Walters; Yolanda Reyna, Oklahoma City; and Carmen Reyna, Lawton; a son, Mike Reyna, Boone; two sisters: Janie Reyna, California; and Angela Garza, Houston; four brothers: Carlos Juarez, George Juarez, Ernest Juarez and Abraham Juarez, all of Houston; 23 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Lewis Reyna; a daughter, Elizabeth Reyna; his stepfather, Max Juarez; two grandsons: Dominic and Dallas Reyna; and four brothers: Eduardo Juarez, Sonny Juarez, Andrew Juarez and Tom Juarez. |
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma January 2023 November 28, 1957 ~ January 28, 2023 Yolanda Sue Reyna was a blessing to her parents; Imogene Tsatahsisko Archilta and Emilio " Reno" Reyna born on November 28, 1957 at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was 65 years old when she went to be with her lord and savior on January 28, 2023 in Oklahoma City. Yolanda only son Gabriel Guy Patty and her fur babies Jazzy, Sassy, and Blue of home. She was a proud member of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and Mescalero Apache Tribe of Mescalero, New Mexico. At the age of ten she learned how to play the piano by Mrs. Walter Johnson. Yolanda attend and graduated from Boone Grade School. While she attend Boone played basketball, softball, and flag football with all her cousins. She attend and graduated from Fort Sill Indian School of May 1975. She went to Cameron University and graduated from All State Business College in Dallas, Texas. After her graduation she was employed by the Caddo Housing Authority. Then she went to work for the Kiowa housing Authority as accounting clerk. She went back to school to major in accounting. Then was an instructor for I.H.S employes. Then she moved to Rock Well, Maryland to work at Pentagon as a GS13 and General Contractor Specialist for all Tribes. Years later she moved back to Oklahoma where she work for Claremore I.H.S in Claremore, Ok. She worked for the I.H.S for 30 years. Yolanda retried in 2012. Then she went on to work for the Apache Tribal Committee for Sec/Treasurer and sever for two terms. And she has many other accomplishment's and awards. Oh how she love her boy's the OU and Thunder teams and many other sports. She cheered them on proud and loudly that it hurt your ears. She loved being called MOM, Auntie-Momma, Sister, Grandma, Da'h Da'h Yolie, Friend, & Yo. She love doing arts and crafts shows. She also love to sewing and making shawls, towels sets, she even got into making ribbon skirts. And Yolanda like stopping at all the yards sales and she was a big on bargain sales she love her Jo-Anna's, Bath And Body Works, and Khol's coupons. Yolanda was a Great-Great-Great-Great Granddaughter of Geronimo and Pancho Villa. Yolanda is survived by her: Only son Gabriel Guy Patty, 3 Sisters: Emily & husband William Lyon Saupitty. © El Reno Tribune El Reno, Oklahoma Sunday, May 5, 2019 June 28, 1961 ~ December 30, 2022 Michael "Mike" Evans Reyna, 61, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born June 28, 1961 in Cyril, OK to Emilio Reyna and Imogene [Archilta] Tsatahsisko. Mike attended Boone grade school, Concho Indian School, Fort Sill Indian School and graduated from Riverside Indian School in 1980. After graduating he worked various jobs in the oil field and then joined his father Emilio as a Native stone/rock mason rocking houses and building rock fireplaces all over the Southwest Oklahoma. His passion was being an artist. Mike was a sculptor, painter and jewelry making. He was the Great-great-great-great grandson of Pancho Villa. Mike had three sons: Mike Nestell, January 5, 1972. In 1982 he met Michelle Yackeyony and thru this union had two sons: Dominic Reyna Yackeyony and Robert Reyna Yackeyony. Mike was an Elder of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and a very talented artist in sculpturing stone, wood and bone. He had art pieces on display at the Southern Plains Museum in Anadarko, OK. A private collector of the Fairmont Creamery, Lawton, OK and several other private collectors around the nation has his art work and pieces. He was a simple man, never drawing attention to himself, had a great love for all his family, friends and would help anyone who asked for his assistance without any hesitation. MIke loved the Lord and life always saying "If the Lord be on my side, who can be against me."
