Wichita Falls, Texas September 2020 October 27, 1977 ~ September 2, 2020 Mr. Pantoja died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas after a sudden illness. He was born October 27,1977, in Lawton to José Antonio Pantoja and Nathelene Pace. He grew up in Lawton surrounded by cousins. He attended Eisenhower High School and graduated in 1996 during this time he also completed automotive courses at Lawton area Vo-Tech. He served his family by working on cars as the ultimate mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, being with his two sons, and just spending time with his family. Survivers include his brother David and sister in law Stacy Pantoja and their children: Annavita,Cassidy,Tyler,Brenen, and Wesley. His Two sons Joseph and Elijah and their mother Starlina Blizard. His aunts: Threase and Keith Simmons and LaQuinta and Richard Holcomb. His special maternal grandmother, Sandra Archilta Marroquin; his uncle Curtis Neal Strong. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Those waiting for him in heaven are his mother Nathelene Pace; his brother Rafael Pantoja; his maternal grandparents; Rocco Joseph Pace and Mary Archilta TsaTahsisko; his aunt DeLorna Strong; uncles Darrell "Buns" Williams, Rocky Pace and Nathan Pace; and a cousin Darrell DJ Simmons. Apache, Oklahoma November 2011 Augusr 18, 1984 ~ November 5, 2011 Funeral for Rafael "Ralph" Orte Pantoja, 27, Apache, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Comanche Community Center of Apache with Pastor Santiago "Ponce" Leon officiating and Curtis Neal Strong Jr. assisting. Mr. Pantoja died Saturday, November 5, 2011, in Lawton. Burial will be in the Cache Creek KCA Intertribal Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. He was born August 18, 1984, in Lawton to José Antonio Pantoja and Nathelene Pace. He grew up in Apache, being raised by his Uncle Richard and Aunt LaQuinta Holcomb. He attended Apache Public Schools and graduated from Apache High School in 2003. He served his family as the ultimate babysitter, and was a member of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma. He never met a stranger and had a zest for life despite his battle with lupus. He enjoyed fishing, camping, shooting his guns, watching movies, baby sitting, being with his nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Survivors include his father, Jose Antonio Pantoja, Puerto Rico; a daughter, Ioleta Daisy Marie Tahhahwah; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Joseph "Jo-jo" Rocco Pantoja and David Aaron Michaels and Stacy Caron Pantoja, all of Lawton; eight aunts and uncles: DeLorna and Curtis Neal Strong, Lawton; LaQuinta and Richard Holcomb, of the home; Threase and Keith Simmons, Apache and Derrell and Johnita Williams, Carnegie; an extended brother and sister: Seth McCray, Shreveport, La. and Sara Toles, Lawton; his special maternal grandmother, Sandra Archilta Marroquin; his beloved Chihuahua, Selena, of the home; an extended uncle, Henry McCray; an extended grandmother, Willie McCray and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nathelene Pace; his maternal grandparents: Rocco Joseph Pace and Mary Archilta TsaTahsisko; his paternal grandparents: Mr. And Mrs. Pantoja; two uncles: Rocky Pace and Nathan Pace; his great grandparents: Rocco and Teresa Pace Sr., Freddie Archilta TsaTahsisko and Julia Mulkehay; an extended brother: Nathaniel Joseph McCray; a cousin, Darrell DJ Simmons; his special maternal grandparents: Martha Archilta Banderas, Imogene Archilta Reyna and Emilio Reno Reyna and special maternal grandpa, John O. Holcomb. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
