APACHE Funeral for Pamela Robles Lusk, 58, longtime Apache resident, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at United Methodist Church of Apache, with Mrs. Regina Brannock officiating.

Mrs. Lusk went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 26, 2011, at home with her family.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Cache Creek KCA Intertribal Cemetery, west of Apache under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

She was born July 25, 1952, to Tobias Robles Sr. and Norma Poemoceah Penisten in Lawton.

She grew up in the Lawton and Apache areas. She moved to Apache in ninth grade and lived in Apache most of her adult life. She graduated from Apache High School in 1970.

She married Kenneth E. Lusk on September 18, 1973.

She attended and served as a deacon at Apache Reformed Church.

During her life she was a homemaker while working for the Apache Schools and Comanche Nation. At the time of her passing, she was an administrative assistant in the Home Improvement Program for the Comanche Nation.

She was a caring and giving person who took care of her family and co-workers. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lusk; daughter, Poem Lusk, of Oregon; son, Jackson Lusk, of Apache; granddaughter, Kennedy, of Oregon; four brothers: Tobias Robles Jr., Daniel Robles, of Apache; Frank and wife, Nancy Lewis, of Elgin; Larry Lewis, of Lawton; three sisters: Susan and husband, Jim Montgomery, of Texas; Stephanie Harrison, of Texas; Regina and husband, Daniel Brannock, of Apache; mother-in-law, Katie Lusk, of Apache; three sisters-in-law: Jackye and husband, G.E. Coffman, of Apache; Debbie Edwards, of Apache; Sandy and husband, Wayne Prewitt, of Edmond; stepfather, William R. Penisten, of Lawton; aunt, Zenia and uncle, John Anderson, of Chickasha; uncles: Vincent Wallace, of Apache; and Bert Perdasofpy, of Anadarko; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Camille Wallace; father-in-law, Jack Lusk; nephew, Larry Edwards; and stepbrother, Jeffrey Penisten.
