Apache, Oklahoma October 2018 July 1, 1927 ~ October 15, 2018 Funeral services for Vivian Tsatoke Komardley, 91, of Apache will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 18, 2018. Wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Both services will be at Watchetaker hall at the Comanche Complex. Ms. Komardley was called home on Monday, October 15, 2018. Speakers for the wake service will be Marilyn Bread, devotion leader, and the message will be given by Rev. Andrew “Sonny “Ware. For the funeral, Devotion Leader will be by Dusty Miller with the message given by Rev. Jerry Grey. Burial will be at Cache Creek Cemetery under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. Vivian Tsatoke Komardley was born July 1, 1927, in Carnegie. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Cecil and Jenny [Haumpy] Horse. Ms. Komardley was married to the late George Komardley. Ms. Tsatoke attended Riverside Indian School who she supported throughout her entire life. She was known as a seamstress and made dresses and shawls for individuals, cultural organizations, and dresses for tribal princesses. She dedicated her life to Christ and sang Kiowa, Comanche and apache hymns for all local Indian churches and some non-Indian churches for all different occasions. She enjoyed going to cultural events. MS. Tsatoke was a humble person and never tried to put herself in the front. She was honored and loved by many and had numerous adopted children, brothers and sisters from different tribes. Ms. Komardley was married to the late George Komardley. She leaves to cherish her memories five [5] sons; Eugene Boyiddle and wife Donna of Carnegie, Donald Komardley of Apache, Evens Komardley and wife Patty of Apache, Bobby Komardley and wife Cindy of Anadarko, Dallas Bunton and wife Beverly of Chattanooga, Tn. Three [3] Daughters; Gloria Redbird and husband Earnest of Carnegie, Jensie Lonewolf of Anadarko and Georgia "Fuzzy" Komardley of the home. Adopted children; Jeffery Toehay, Joanna Redbone, Tennyson Mercer, Greg Klinekole, Lester Short, Martin "Pepper" Tsatoke, Laura Emhoolah, Lela Cozad, Mandy Mills and the late Joyce Dupont, and a special brother Raymond Tongkemah. She leaves twelve [12] grandsons; Ernie, jimmy, Arthur, Robbie George, Meakah, Carter, Christian, Dallas Jr., Davin, Jeremy and Kyle. Sixteen [16] granddaughters; Teresa, Tammy, Sherry, Tina, Janie, Stephanie, Amber, Terre, Jolane, Renee, Dusty, Henrietta, Crissy, Ina, Sunshine and Angel. Twenty-seven greatgrandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband George Komardley, children Jimmy Lee Komardley, and grandchildren; Lolane Irene Komardley and Sherry Lynn Redbird. Two brothers; Edwin Tsatoke and John Tsatoke. Five sisters; Evelyn Bread, Dorothy Grey Eileen Tsatoke, Stella Rivera and Mary Elizabeth Jones. |
