Darlene [Killsfirst] Hutton
December 22, 1949 ~ May 21, 2017


Darlene [Killsfirst] Hutton, age 67, of Geronimo, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.

Darlene was born on December 22, 1949 in Apache, Oklahoma, she was the second child of twin girls born to Benjamin and May KillsFirst. Her twin sister Charlene Cee died of illness when they were eight months old.

The family lived in both Porcupine, South Dakota, Boone and Apache, Oklahoma. Darlene was a proud full-blooded Native American enrolled member of the Oglala-Sioux and Apache Tribe of Oklahoma.

A beautiful and loving wife, Darlene married Booby J. "Loud" Hutton on January 16, 1968 in Lawton, Oklahoma for forty-nine years. They have resided in Geronimo, Oklahoma for thirty-two years.

She was a member of the Native American Church and attended Cameron Baptist Church for the last few years alongside her husband, in which they both gave their lives to the lord.

Darlene loved to cook, having a great passion cooking for her family and friends, playing pool, and dancing. Throughout her life and was considered one of the best of these passions by many, being considered a top pool player within the ranks of woman and men. She was very proud to be the first woman to qualify and compete in the March of Dimes Coors Light Pool Shootout. During her playing days, Darlene won many trophies and jackets throughout her years competing in the pool leagues.

She was also considered the best frybread and meat pie makers by hundreds, spending her summers every Sunday at Lake Lawtonka with a plate for anyone who was hungry. While her children attend school at Washington Elementary, Darlene coached the boys and girls basketball teams, enjoyed providing snacks and holding holiday parties as a home room mother for her children's classes.

Preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and May [Komardley] KillsFirst; brothers George Komardley, Carter "Tincy" Komardley, Delbert "Loach" Komardley, and Floyd KillsFirst; sisters Geraldine [Katy] KillsFirst, Alva Deana Komardley, Velma Doris Komardley, Rita May Komardley, Betty Komardley-French, and twin sister Charlene Cee KillsFirst and son Ricky Dean "Yea" KillsFirst along with many cousins in South Dakota and Oklahoma, numerous nephews and nieces, lots of beloved friends and grandbabies in the Lawton area whom she loved dearly.

Darlene is survived by her husband Bobby J. "Loud Hutton of the home in Geronimo, OK. This marriage is blessed with six sons; stepson Bobby Joe Hutton of Cyril, OK, Charles Benjamin KillsFirst of Apache, OK, Robert Amon "Fearless" KillsFirst of Elgin, OK, Ricky Dean "Yea" KillsFirst deceased, Freddie Lynn "Bubba" KillsFirst of Lawton, OK and her baby Jason Lee "Hutt" Hutton of Geronimo, OK.; a daughter Charlene May "Sweetie" KillsFirst-Barr of Lawton, OK.; beloved sister Vivian Komardley of Boone-Apache, OK; two brothers and their wives: Phillip and Inola KillsFirst of Boone, OK and Paul and Pattie KillsFirst of Boone, OK.; numerous nephews she considered sons, Donald Komardley of Apache, OK, Evans Komardley of Boone, OK, Bobby Komardley of Apache, OK, Phillip KillsFirst Jr. of Boone, OK, Kris KillsFirst of Lawton, OK, Jimmy KillsFirst of Boone, OK, Joseph KillsFirst of Boone, OK, Jerry KillsFirst of Oregon, and Gerald Ramon of Kentucky and close to a hundred other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her smile, love, and friendship will be dearly missed.
