William Kirby French Sr
September 13, 1937 ~ October 21, 2006


Funeral service for William Kirby French, Sr., age 69, of Chickasha will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at the Indian Capital Baptist Church in Anadarko.

William Kirby French, Sr., was born the son of Edgar L. French, Sr. and Blanche Reynolds French on September 13, 1937, in Anadarko. He died at his home in Chickasha on October 21, 2006.

William graduated from Anadarko High School then entered the U.S. Navy, serving four years on an aircraft carrier. After being discharged, he returned to Anadarko. He then attended Okmulgee Technical College to study heating and air conditioning. After graduation, he began working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. During this time, he worked for the BIA at Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas. He was later transferred to the Riverside Indian School at Anadarko where he retired after 22 years of service. William was a member of the Delaware Nation of Anadarko where he served on the tax commission.

He married Betty Komardley on October 18, 1968, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on January 13, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jennifer Komardley; great grandchild, Andrew James French; two brothers, Jesse Coffey and Charlie French.

Survivors include: daughter: Jeanne Mosley of Chickasha; daughter: Karry French of Chickasha; son: Donnie French of Norman; daughter: Margie Luoma of Oklahoma City; daughter: Georgia French of Chickasha; son: William French, Jr. of Tulsa; daughter: Mary A. French of Oklahoma City; son: Jeremy French of Chickasha; son: Richard K. French of Chickasha; brother: Edgar French, Jr. of Ft. Cobb; sister: Mary French Smith of Anadarko; brother: Reynolds French of Norman; thirteen grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Interment will be in the Cache Creek Cemetery west of Apache. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

Betty Margaret [Killsfirst] French
January 26, 1941 ~ January 13, 2005


APACHE - Services for Betty Margaret French, 62, of Chickasha, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 17, at the Apache Reform Church in Apache withthe Rev. Amon Harjo officiating.

A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, January 16, at the Apache Reform Church.

Mrs. French was born January 26, 1941 in Lawton to Jim and May [Komardley] Killsfirst and was called home by the Lord Thursday, January 13, 2005 in Norman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George and Carter Komardley, and four sisters, Deana, Velma, Rita May, and Charlene.

Mrs. French was a graduate of the Anadarko High School, she also was a graduate of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha in business administration and received the BA degree from Haskell University in Lawrence, Kan.

She was united in marriage to William K. French in October 1968 at Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was Kiowa/Apache Princess in 1961.

Mrs. French was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was a member of the Indian Baptist Church in Fort Cobb.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of the home; six daughters, Jennifer Komardley, Margie Luoma, and Mary Ann French, all of Oklahoma City, Jeanne Mosley and Karry French, both of Chickasha, and Georgia Gail French, of the home; four sons, Kerry Don French and William K. French, both of Norman, Jeremy French of Chickasha, and Richard French, of the home; onr sister, Darlene Hutton of Geronimo; three brothers, Delbert Komardley, of Norman, Phillip Killsfirst, Sr., of Apache, and Paul Killsfirst, of Anadarko; 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Cache Creek Cemetery, west of Apache, under the direction of Smith-Haskney Funeral Home of Anadarko.

Georgia Gail French
September 2, 1971 ~ June 13, 2014


APACHE: Funeral service for Georgia "Gail" French, 42, Norman, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at United Methodist Church of Apache with Rev. Amon Harjo officiating.

Burial will follow at West Cache Creek KCA Cemetery west of Apache.

She went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 13, 2014, in Oklahoma City.

Gail was born on September 2, 1971, in Okmulgee to William and Betty [Komardley] French. She graduated from Verden High School and received an associates degree in business administration from Montana State University-Northern.

She was a member of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Verden. Gail referred to her nieces and nephews as her flock, which she was always looking after and taking care of. She loved watching movies, cooking shows and football games, listening to music, spending time with her family and friends. Gail's passion in life was looking after her flock. She loved and cared for them as if they were her own. She was considered the center and the heart of the family.

Gail is survived by: her siblings and spouses: Jeanne and Michael Mosley, of Yukon, Karry French and Johnny Smith, of Chickasha, Donnie French, of Norman, Margie and Darrel Nieto, of Anadarko, William French Jr., of Bethany, Mary French, of the home, Jeremy French, of Oklahoma City,and Richard French, of Bethany; Gail's Flock of Children: Julie, Melissa, Marilyn, Kristopher "Mutt," Patrick "Patty," Jamie May, Tyler Ray, Jonny, Austin "Biggie," Rita May "Piester," Breanna "B-Chanel," MayLynn "May-May," Autumn, A.J., Mathew "Matty," Kyndall "Piggy," Evelyn, Noah "NoNo," Madison, Jaxon "Jax," Kalonie, Jacori "J-Man," Daeveon, Nicole "Co-Co," Kris "baby Kris," Isaac and Mia "Mia-Mia."

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Komardley-French, her father, William French Sr, and a sister, Jennifer Komardley.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. tonight at the United Methodist Church of Apache.
