Barbara [Sapcut] Asepermy
June 16, 1934 ~ December 1, 2021


Funeral for Barbara Asepermy, 87, of Apache will be December 9, 2021 at 1 p.m. along with a Prayer Service on December 8, 2021 at 6 p.m. Both services will be held at the Comanche Nation Funeral Home with Baxter Asepermy officiating and burial at Cache Creek KCA Cemetery in Apache, OK.

Mrs. Asepermy died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Apache with her loving family by her side.

She was born June 16, 1934 in Apache to Frank and Marion Ahdosy Sapcut. Mrs. Asepermy was a graduate of Apache High School and later attended Haskell Junior College. She worked as a teacher's aide at Boone Grade School and with the Kiowa Tribe, Comanche Nation and Fort Sill Apache Tribe before retiring.

She married George Asepermy Jr. November 23, 1955 at Cache Creek Mission, west of Apache. From this union seven children were born.

Mrs. Asepermy was a full blood Comanche and a member of the Comanche Indian Veterans Association and Comanche Little Ponies.

Survivors include her sons: Baxter Asepermy, Daryll Asepermy, Stephen Asepermy and Michael Jones, all of Apache; daughters: Tammie Asepermy of Apache; Kimberly Butteris of Wichita, KS; brother, Richard Sapcut of Yukon; sisters: Mary Sapcut and Sharon Enriquez, both of Apache.

She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; daughter, Melissa Ann Asepermy; sister, Patricia Whitewolf; brothers: Vincent Sapcut and Kenneth Sapcut.

Selia Silvia [Marroquin] Asepermy
April 6, 1958 ~ May 25, 2021


Selia Silvia [Maroquin] Asepermy, 63, passed away on May 25, 2021 in Yukon, OK. She was born on April 6, 1958 in Lawton, OK to Ignacio and Sandra [Stewart] Marroquin.

Silvia was a pastor's wife and enjoyed serving her Lord, at Victorious Faith Center in Boone, Ok.

She enjoyed doing word puzzles, gardening, and playing games on electronics with her grandkids. Silvia also enjoyed traveling with her sister, Christine and family to many different places.

She loved her husband, mother Sandra, sons, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter, Adalee and family, dearly!

Silvia was a mighty prayer warrior to say the least. Over the years she enjoyed attending women's conferences and also putting them together for women to come and experience the Love and power of our Mighty God! She enjoyed reading, going out to eat and having holiday dinners with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her: Dad, Ignacio Marroquin; Sister, Julie Marroquin; brother, Larry Dale Stewart.

Survived by her: Husband, Baxter of the home, Sons: Micah Thomas, Norman, OK, Jeremy & wife, Rhonda Thomas, Shawnee, OK, Ponce Leon, Apache, OK, Kristian Thomas, Boone, OK Daughter: Vickey Leon, Apache, OK, Mother: Sandra Marroquin, Apache, OK, Grandchildren: Alyssa Leon, Hannah Leon, Isaac Leon, Judah Leon, Tehya Thomas, Cecelia Thomas, Jacob Flores, Kimora Rosette. Great granddaughter: Adalee Noelia Deforest.

Eric Boyd Asepermy
February 6, 1962 ~ May 2, 2016


APACHE: Funeral for Eric Boyd "Boyd-cee" Asepermy, Apache, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home with Baxter Asepermy officiating.

He died Monday, May 2, 2016, at his home in Apache.

Burial will follow at the Cache Creek KCA Cemetery.

Eric was born February 6, 1962, to Bo-ti and Faye Asepermy, in Dallas.

He was an enrolled member of the Comanche Nation and of Cherokee and Kiowa descent.

He graduated from Checotah High School and attended Caddo-Kiowa Vocational Technology Center, where he completed the Heating and Air Conditioning course.

After working a few odd jobs he became disabled due to the onset of diabetes. During the past few years, despite becoming a double amputee, he became the "man of the house" by doing the cooking, laundry and other domestic chores which allowed his brother, sister-in-law and nephew to pursue their careers, he also helped raise his nephews and niece.

Eric was the drummer for NDN TYMZ, a classic Rock Blues Band that played at numerous nightspots in Lawton and the surrounding area to include the Comanche Nation Fair. He was also an avid Sooner, Thunder and Dallas Cowboy fan seldom missing their televised games.

Eric had a favorite cat, Cheeto that he raised by hand from two-weeks-old.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Darren and Marta Asepermy; nephews: Darius Asepermy, and Nickolas and Jarred Grass; and niece, Nicole Asepermy; his aunts: Ruth Myers, Sue Gooday, Tomah Yeahquo and Lori Davis Emhoolah; and many cousins and friends.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents: George Sr. and Hattie Asepermy; his paternal grandparents: Joe and Lucy Davis; his paternal uncles: Curtis and George Asepermy Jr.; and aunts: Fern Tosee, Ginger Caudillo, Theresa Pilas and Yvonne Evans.
