© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma November 17, 2007 Rodney Earl Mickley September 6, 1965 ~ November 15, 2007 The funeral for Rodney Earl Mickley, 42, of Bethany, formerly of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Highland Hills Baptist Church. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Carnegie Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mercer Adams Funeral Service. He was born September 6, 1965, to Ernest and Joyce Mickley, and died Thursday, November 15, 2007. He graduated from Carnegie High School and received his degree in travel and tourism from Draughon's School of Business. He attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Services, where he became a licensed funeral director. He served as a funeral director in Carnegie, Enid, Woodward, Shattuck and Booker, Texas. He attended Highland Hills Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. He worked at Mercer Adams Funeral Service in Bethany. Surviving are his wife, Darla; his children, Heather and James; his parents, Ernest and Joyce Mickley; two brothers, Ernie and Doug; and one grandson. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Ronald McDonald House. |
