January 2012 Charlotte [Belase] King Charlotte King joined her husband and many loved ones in God's Heaven on January 8th, 2012. Charlotte was born in Oney, OK on February 18th, 1930, to James Herbert and Lola Mae [Brown] Belase. She and her husband Darrell King were married December 21, 1947. Darrell preceded her in death on July 5, 2009. Charlotte and Darrell lived in the Alfalfa and Carnegie communities all their life. Charlotte was a farmer's wife and helped Darrell run a hatchery and feed mill in Carnegie for several years. She also worked for Dr. Jim Hill for a time and spent several years working in retail at Crutchers Department Store. Charlotte had a very loving and caring concern for other people and was always trying to make life easier for those she loved. She had a great sense of humor and was often funny even without intention. She was a very classy lady and a very proud lady. She will be sorely missed by many. She is survived by her two children: son, Randall King and wife, Debbie, Chandler, OK; daughter, Brenda Kay McDaniel and husband, Tommy, Madill, OK; grandchildren, Brandon Winters and wife Linda, Yukon, OK; Aschel King and wife, Lynette, Yukon, OK; Ashley King, Stillwater, OK; step- grandchildren, Maurice Sartor, Oklahoma City, OK; Marilyn McGaughy, Pea Ridge, AR; John McDaniel and wife Carrie, Springdale,AR; great grandchildren, Trenton Winters, Jacob, Emily and Lucas McDaniel, Paige and Austin McGaughy, Olive and Opal King, Mason King, Patience Michelle Sartor, Maurice Darrell Sartor; one sister, Evelyn Steele and husband Bill, San Antonio, TX; brother, DeeRoy Belase, Carnegie, OK; sisters-in-law, Vonna Garrett, Coeata Shinn, Karen Nelson and Janice King and many loving nieces and nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Darrell. If Charlotte could speak for herself she would want you to know that she had a wonderful life and she is now at peace and at home. Funeral Services: 2:00p.m., Friday, January 13, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, Carnegie, OK.
