© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, October 13, 1926 Mattie A. [Stewart] Kane Hopper Mrs. Mattie Hopper died at a hospital in Chickasha Saturday, Oct. 9 after a severe illness of only a few days. Funeral services were held at the Pitcher Funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. R.K. McGregor, pastor of the First Baptist church, and interment was made in the Carnegie cemetery. Mrs. Hopper is survived by her husband, A.L. Hopper and two children, a son and a daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Hopper had lived in Carnegie for the past year and had recently moved to a farm south of town. |
