© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, Dwayne Bryant 1944 ~ 2014 Dwayne Bryant, 70, of Carnegie, OK passed away March 31, 2014 at the Carnegie Nursing Home surrounded by family. He was born at Carnegie Hospital, Carnegie, OK on January 5, 1944 to Ernest and Genetia (Patterson Bryant. He graduated from Carnegie High School. On January 29, 1963 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Pitt in Clayton, New Mexico. Dwayne and Carolyn celebrated 51 years of marriage in January. Dwayne farmed in the Carnegie area all of his life. He loved to farm and raise cattle. He always wanted to be a farmer from the time he was a small boy. He also worked for Squires Trucking and drove a school bus for Carnegie Public Schools. Dwayne was a member of the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK. Dwayne is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home,, 2 daughters: Deanna and husband Keith McRae, Carnegie, Renee and husband, Mike Sanders of Cashion., 6 grandchildren: Krystal and husband Daniel Whitworth of Bartlesville, Taylar Ramirez, Carnegie, Meagan Sanders of Alva, Madison Sanders of Cashion, Kendra Bryant, of the home, Jasmine Henson of Louisiana. 2 great-grandchildren: Noah Whitworth and Embree Whitewolf, 2 brother-in-laws, Bob Pitt, Carnegie, Dennis Skinner, Carnegie, 1 sister-in-law, Mary Ewalt and husband, Jim, Carnegie, OK, 2 nephews, Doug Hall, Anadarko, OK, Brad Pitt, Moore, OK, 9 nieces, Phyllis Watson, Anadarko, OK, Regina Williams, Alex, OK, Lori D'Amaro, San Diego, CA, Leah Pitt, San Diego, CA, Lindy Martinet, San Diego, CA, Shandell Sears, Lakeway, TX, Valerie Merritt, Yukon, OK, Kristen Shepherd, Arapaho, OK, Shelly McAdoo, Carnegie, OK, numerous family and friends. Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, son, Todd Allen, sisters, Voncille Hall and Anita Rutledge, two nephews and sister-in-law Sandy Skinner. Funeral Service: 2:00p.m., Thursday, April 04, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK. Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie Dwayne Bryant January 5, 1944 ~ March 31, 2014 |
