© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, September 12, 1934 Lula Mae Sellars Bradley 1902 ~ 1934 Mrs. Fred Bradley Passes Away After Long Illness Funeral services were held for Mrs. Fred Bradley at the Pentecostal Holiness church here at 3 p.m. Friday, following her death at the family home west of town Thursday, Sept. 6. Rev. Lee, pastor, conducted the service and interment was made in the Carnegie cemetery. She had been in failing health for a long time and for the past eight months had been confined to her bed. She spent three and a half months in a Clinton hospital this spring. Lula Mae Sellars was born in Wood county, Texas. She was married to Fred Bradley March 15, 1919 and to this union seven children were born, one dying in infancy. The family moved to Greer county, Okla. in 1921 and came to Carnegie in 1925 where they have since lived. Mrs. Bradley always stood for truth and uprightness in every form and tried to rear, her children in the right way. Besides her husband and children, she is survived by two brothers and two sisters all of whom reside in Texas, except Miss Mattie Sellars who was staying with Mrs. Bradley during the past few months. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A.L., Bradley, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bradley and Douglas Bradley of Sapulpa. Lula Mae Sellars Bradley 1902 ~ September 6, 1934 |
