Vernon Ray Blehm
1937 ~ 2015


Vernon Blehm, 78, Carnegie, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015, in Carnegie, Oklahoma. He was born is Whittier, California to Carl and Sadie [Hill] Blehm.

Vernon received a Masters in Music. He taught Band at several schools Thomas, Fairview, and Panhandle State University, and Liberal, Kansas for seven years, also teaching a semester at Carnegie Public School.

Vernon moved back to the Carnegie area in 1977, teaching Band until he retired. He farmed after he retired from teaching .

Vernon married Anita Faye Jepson on May 20, 2011 in Carnegie, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie.

He is survived by his wife Anita Faye Blehm, of the home, two sons, Keevin Blehm, Carnegie, OK, Kallon Blehn, Carnegie, OK, one daugther, Kela Williams, Carnegie, OK, four grandchildren, Ryan, Renee, Krystle, Rhagan, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, John Kuhn, Waxahachie, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Sadie Blehm, first wife Genta Blehm, and one granddaughter Starrla Williams.

Family Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2015, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel, Carnegie, OK.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015, First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK. Officiating: Rev. Arthur Blount.

Burial: Carnegie Cemetery, Carnegie, OK, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie.

Genta Dianne [Swagerty] Blehm
2008 ~ 1939


CARNEGIE - Funeral for Genta Dianne Swagerty Blehm, 69, Carnegie, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Carnegie, with the Rev. Arthur Blount officiating.

Mrs. Blehm died Wednesday, December 31, 2008

Burial will be in Carnegie Cemetery under direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie.

She was born March 25, 1939, in Carnegie, to Chester H. Swagerty and Lahoma Butler Swagerty Rackley and lived in Carnegie most of her life.

She married Vernon Blehm on August 9, 1957, in Carnegie.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Carnegie, and attended First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter and her husband, Kela and Gary Williams, Carnegie; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Keavin Blehm, and Kallon and Larraine Blehm, all of Carnegie; four grandchildren and their spouses: Ryan and Heidi Blehm, Weatherford; Renee and Charlie Blount, El Reno; Krystle Blehm and fiance' Holden McCracken, Chickasha; and Rhagan Kinder, Carnegie; and five great-grandchildren.
