January 2017 Alvin Duane Berry 1935 ~ 2017 Alvin Duane Berry passed away January 27, 2017 at the Carnegie Nursing Home. Duane was born October 24, 1935 to Harold and Emma Troub Berry at Alden, Oklahoma. Duane graduated from Alden High School. Duane owned and operated Berry's Garage from 1977 to 2005. Duane also enjoyed taking care of his grandchildren. Duane was a member of the Carnegie Nazarene Church. Duane served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Duane is survived by his son, Nathan Berry and wife Patricia of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma daughter, Selinda Buchanan & husband Wayne Kulhanek of Megargel, Texas brothers, Kenneth Berry & wife Jeannie of Choctaw, Oklahoma Dawson Berry & wife Louise of Mt View, Oklahoma sisters, Bessie Ratliff & husband Vernon of Carnegie, Oklahoma Karen Partridge & husband Lee of Carnegie, Oklahoma Evelyn Nigro, of Pennsylvania sister in law, Cecelia Berry of Carnegie, Oklahoma grandsons Wesley & Michael Berry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma granddaughters Melissa Alford & Paige Buchanan & Jeff Dyer of Mergargel, Tx great granddaughter Paisley Dyer of Mergargle, Texas great grandson, Brodie Dyer Host of relatives and friends. Duane was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou, his brothers James and Bobby and his sister Maxine Williams. Funeral services for Duane will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene.
