Date Unknown Billy Thad Beebe 1935 ~ 1979 Billy Beebe to Take Study Tour That Includes Europe Billy Beebe is going to school this summer but will avoid sweltering classrooms on the University of Oklahoma campus. He plans a variety of ocean travel, and trips by motor bus, train and river steamers. There will be hours in dim theatres, cathedrals, galleries and palaces. Bill is going to summer school in Europe. The OU sophomore drama student is ready to leave next week for a drama study tour in Europe that will take him thru eight countries and to the principal historical centers of old world culture. The summer program of travel, study and survey will include at least 17 plays and operas in London, Stratford-on-Avon, Paris, Avigonon, Rome, Verona, Zurich, Salzburg and Munich to name a few stops. Billy Beebe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee R. Beebe, of Anadarko, where he graduated from highschool in 1953. He is a member of the Oklahoma National guard and Delta Upslon at the University. He attended grade school in Carnegie until he finished the fifth grade and is a nephew of Mrs. S.N. Beebe of this place. Billy Thad Beebe July 13, 1935 ~ August 6, 1979 |
