Stephen Lee "Stevie" Battles
1949 ~ 1950


Graveside services were in the Carnegie cemetery Friday afternoon for little Stephen Lee Battles, 11-month-old son of Rev. Lorenzo Franklin Jr. & Barbara [Amdall] Battles, of Calvin. Rev. Brodace Elkins, Carnegie Methodist pastor, conducted the services.

Born January 10, 1949, littlke Stevie had undergone several operations the past eight months and was dangerously ill when brought here a week before he died.

Survivors besides the parents are a brother, David, three years old, and the grandparents, Supt. and Mrs. L.F. Battles, Sr., Wewoka, and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Amdall of this place, all of whom were here for the services.
