© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, August 16, 1939 Gene Lee "Geanie" Barkley 1938 ~ 1938 Geanie Lee Barkley, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer L. Barkley was born August 14, 1939 and died a few hours later. Survivors, besides the parents, are two brothers, Alvin Lee and Elby Gene, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Barkley and Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Beddo besides a host of other relatives and friends. Burial services were held at the Carnegie cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday by T.T.
