March 2015 Elizabeth Mae "Liz" [Williams] Banks 1952 ~ 2015 Elyzabeth Mae Banks passed away at the Carnegie Nursing Home on March 21, 2015 at the age of 62 years old. Her Services will be at 10:30 on March 28, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Liz, as she was lovingly called, was born August 1, 1952 in Sanger, California to Ray Williams and Pauline [Groseclose] Sherrin. She was the oldest of four children. Liz lived many places during her life. Liz married the love of her life, James “Tim” Banks on November 19, 1982 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She graduated from Murray State College with an Associate’s Degree. She worked many jobs through the years including as a customer service representative for a credit card company, working on computers and as a homemaker. Liz could crotchet anything. Liz is survived: by her husband, Tim, of the home A son, Teddy Hammond of Sperry, Oklahoma A step daughter, Misty Franklin-Boatman and husband, Russell of Little Axe, Oklahoma A granddaughter, Josie Uebelhart of Sand Springs, Oklahoma A step grandson, Russell Boatman of Little Axe, Oklahoma A great-granddaughter, Elli Uebelhart of Sand Springs, Oklahoma Her father, Ray Williams and wife, Carolyn of Carnegie, Oklahoma Two brothers, Sherman Williams and wife, Terri of Oklahoma City And Orval Williams and wife, Kelly of Carnegie, Oklahoma One sister, Pamala Kibby and husband, Wayne of Holdenville, Oklahoma. And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Liz was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Sherrin and husband, Andy And her grandparents, Paul and Lorene Groseclose and Jack and Audrey Williams.
