© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, Augist 22, 1934 Sereptha Lou Arrington 1934 ~ 1934 Thursday morning, August 16, 1934 the angel of death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Arrington and claimed their only child, Sereptha Lou. Sereptha Lou Arrington was born August 10, 1934, and died Augusr 16, 1934, age 6 days. All that loving hands could do was done, but God said come and she had to obey. She leaves her father, mother, grandparents, great grandparents, four aunts, two uncles and many other relatives and friends to mourn her death. May God dispatch an angel from heaven to comfort the heart broken father and mother and make them realize that He doeth all things well. Funeral services were held at the home Thursday, Aug. 17 at 10 o'clock and interment was made in the Carnegie cemetery. Rev. L.D. Hawkins, former Carnegie Methodist pastor, officiating. Relatives from a distance attending were Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Arrington of Gracemont, Mrs. Miller of Hobart and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hostick of Hominy.
