© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, August 15, 2007 Lula [Henshaw] Ahgoom 1941 ~ 2007 Funeral services for Lula Ahgoom, 65, of Carnegie were held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Carnegie with Rev. Jerry Henshaw and Rev. Gerald Haunpo officiating. Wake services were held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2007 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie. Ahgoom was born in Sapulpa to Walter and Elsie Irene [Alexander] Henshaw and died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Carnegie Nursing Home. She married Herman Ahgoom in 1063 in Oklahoma City and he preceded her in death in 1997. She moved to Carnegie in September 1993 and worked as a nurse aide at the Carnegie Nursing Home from September 1991 to September 1993. Lula was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Henshaw; husband, Herman; three brothers, Ernest Henshaw, Larry Henshaw and Walter Henshaw, Jr.; sister, Linda Faye Henshaw; and daughter Brenda Ahgoom. Survivors include her mother, Elsie Irene Henshaw of Springdale, AR; daughter, Debbie Eckles and husband, George of Shawnee; son, Ron Ahgoom Sr. of Oklahomc City; brothers, Jerry Henshaw and wife, Sherlyl of Springdale, AR and Harvey Henshaw and wife, Judy of Hindsville, Ar; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
