Jesse "Bobby" Lee Jones
Jesse "Bobby" Lee Jones, 78, a former resident of Anadarko-Washita area, passed from this life on Friday, February 3, 2006 at the Glenhaven Nursing Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Bobby was born December 12, 1927 in Washita, Oklahoma to Sid & Ethel Jones.
Bobby grew up and went to school at Washita. He was a life long resident of Caddo County. He loved being outdoors, raising and taking care of exotic animals and cooking for his friends & family. He was a farmer and raised cattle and a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church.
Survivors include: Son, Jesse Julius Ewehottino Jones & wife, Kathy, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Sister, Glenna "Pete" Smith, Addison, Texas; Brother, Tommy D. Jones & wife, Phyllis, Garden City, Missouri; Grandson: Julius Ernest-Hayden Jones; Granddaughters: Jessika Haylee Jones & Justine Emily Jones; Numerous other relatives and friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, two wives: Geraldine & Katherine Corrine [Butler] Jones & sister, Vivian McCurdy.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2006, Butler Family Cemetery, west of Anadarko. Rev. Bill Long will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
