Tulsa, Oklahoma December 2023 February 20, 1957 ~ December 8, 2023 ennifer Thelma Goodin, born in Hollywood, CA February 28, 1957 to parents Wanda Gilchrist and Norman Rogers Grist Jr, passed peacefully on December 8, 2023 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 66. Jennifer devoted her life to taking care of her children and will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and eldest son, Seth Bryan Goodin. Jennifer is survived by her ex-husband Shawn Goodin of Charlotte, NC, twins Samuel Goodin and Suzanna McKissor, grandchildren Austin, Skailar and Alison De'Arman of Tulsa, OK. Jennifer is also survived by her half siblings, Madelyn, Evelyn, Edward and Norman, all of New Jersey, as well as many other relatives and friends. Ventura, California November 2018 October 5, 1977 ~ November 4, 2018 Seth Bryan Goodin was born October 5th, 1977, the elder son of R. Shawn and Jennifer Thelma (Grist) Goodin, died of respiratory failure as a complication of MPS III-A at his home in Ventura, CA on November 4th, 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Ellen Goodin, Wanda Gayle Gilchrist, and Norman Rogers Grist II. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer, Ventura, CA; Shawn and wife Barbara, Harrisburg, NC; his grandfather Robert E. Goodin, DeBary, Fl; his siblings Samuel, Ventura, CA, Suzanna De'Arman and husband Timothy and family, Broken Arrow, OK; Barbara Hathaway and husband, John, Charlotte, NC. Seth's death at age 41 makes him one of the longest-lived persons with his disorder. In lieu of flowers, the family requests interested parties make a donation to the National MPS Society at MPSSociety.org.
