© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma August 2003 August 27, 2003 Funeral services for Ruby Taylor See, 88, of Mountain View were held Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Church of Christ in Mountain View with Dan Wheeler officiating. Ruby was born December 16, 1914 north of Mountain View to Leonard and Josie Taylor and died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at her home north of Mountain View. She traveled to Arkansas by covered wagon at a young age. She returned to the Cowden/Alfalfa area where she spent the rest of her life. She married Herman See in 1935 and raised five children. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Mountain View. She is survived by her five children, Herman and Barbara See of Carnegie, Wally and Pat See of Mustang, Mary Ann and Jerry Nikkel of Carnegie, Ruby Nell and Joe Graham of Carnegie and Lynda See of Mustang; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Roy, J.D. and Jones; one sister, Lenual. Burial was in the Alfalfa Cemetery under the direction of the Peoples Funeral Home in Lone Wolf. |
