© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, October 15, 1930 December 22, 1877 ~ October 8, 1930 E.J. Rink, well known resident of the Alden community for the past fifteen years, died at Supply Wednesday, Octobet 8. Mr. Rink has been in bad health for the past eighteen months and had spent several long periods in hospitals. Funeral services were held at Alden at 3:00 p.m. Friday by Rev. R.K. McGregor pastor of the Carnegie Baptist church and interment was made in the Alden cemetery. Eddie J. Rink was born at Gadston, Ala. December 22, 1877, and died October 8, 1930, aged 52 years, 9 months and 16 days. He was married in Celeste, Texas in 1903 to Mollie Mae Mulkey and to this union nine children were born, seven girls and two boys.la. Besides his wife, he is survived by eight children: Olan Rink, Carnegie; Mrs. Lavada Newton, Eakly; and Ruth, Rena, Elza, Helen and Onilla Rink who are at home near Alden. He also has a brother, J.T. Rink, of Midland, Oregon and a sister, Mrs. Eula Patmon of Dallas, Texas.la. December 22, 1877, and died October 8, 1930, aged 52 years, 9 months and 16 days. One daughter preceded him in death at Celeste, Texas seventeen years ago. |
