Lizzie Mae was a member of the eighth grade class at Prairie Vale, having completed the seventh grade there this spring. Lizzie Mae was always a willing worker and made grades of which anyone could be proud. Lizzie Mae Pack was born May 10, 1919 at Mulberry, Ark. and departed this life June 6, 1934 at the age of 15 years and 27 days. She was the fourth child of a family of four. A sister and a brother preceded her in death. She moved with her parents to Carnegie from Mulberry, Ark. eight years ago and has lived in and near this vicinity since. She was converted at the age of 13. Although not a member of any church, she has attended various churches in the community. Lizzie Mae was an obedient and devoted daughter and sister and was highly respected by her schoolmates and friends. No words of sympathy can we express to the family that will take away the hurt and sting. She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Pack, and a brother, Clyde Pack, one grandmother, Mrs. Tillie Pack, Frederick, and a host of other relatives and friends. Reverend Garland Howard conducted the funeral services, and burial was made in the Alden cemetery. |
