Gotebo Records June 1, 1950 May 27, 1892 ~ May 30, 1950 Arthur Lee Holland, who was visiting here with his son, A.L. Holland, was apparently feeling all right until a few hours before he died when he complained of a headache and then suffered a heart attack and died almost instantly. He was born May 27, 1892, near Chickasha and died May 30, 1950 in Gotebo. He is survived by his wife; his daughters, Pernecie Mae Merck and Gladys Fae Mosior of Chico CA, Clytis Rae Reynolds of Lookeba; and sons, Eldon Lee Holland of Marlow, A.L. and Cleo Clayton, both of Gotebo and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon in the Baptist Church in Gotebo with burial in the Alden Cemetery. |
© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, September 10, 1930 February 11, 1929 ~ September 3, 1930 Leo Van Holland, 18 months' old son of Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Holland who live in the Spring Valley community, died early Wednesday morning. The funeral was held at the Spring Valley church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.H. Burton, and interment was made in the Alden community. Leo Van Holland was born February 11, 1929, died September 3, 1930, aged 1 year, 7 months and 22 days. Besides the parents three brothers and three sisters survive. |
