© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, April 16, 1874 ~ October 26, 1937 Frank A. Erman, 63 Dies At Alden Home Funeral services for Frank A. Erman, pioneer of the Alden community, were held at the Presbyterian church at Alden Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 and burial was made in the Alden cemetery. Mr. Erman died at the family home Tuesday after an illness of more than two years. Garland C. Howard, pastor of the Baptist church, conducted the funeral service. Frank A. Erman was born April 16, 1874 in Mount Sterling, Ill., died October 26, 1937, aged 63 years, 6 months and 10 days. He was reared in Illinois and spent his early boyhood days at Anthony, Kans. When he was still a young man he moved to Enid, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Miss Zeno M. Gwyn January 26, 1905. Mr. and Mrs. Erman moved to Caddo county in 1909 and have made their home in the Alden community since that time. Mr. Erman joined the Alden Presbyterian church in 1928 and remained a faithful member until his death. Survivors are the widow, three sons, Walter R. of Carnegie, and Roy A. and Paul C. and one daughter, Wilda Kathleen, all of the home address; and one sister, Mrs. C.H. Greer of Summer, Wash. |
