© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma April 22, 1904 Page 8 Col 1 February 4, 1835 ~ January 1904 Jonathan Davis born Franklin Co, Indiana in 1834. In 1868 moved with his wife, Sarah Elizabeth [Halsted] Davis, and 3 children to Schuyler Co, Missouri and remained there for 5 years moving to Putnam County until 1902 to 7 miles south of Carnegie. They had 12 children, 9 living. 1 son, Henry. Buried in Alden Cemetery. He died of appoplexy while riding on the road to Cagnegie, OK. |
