Lawton, Oklahoma January 20, 2016 March 17, 1951 ~ January 20, 2016 Johnetta Faye Dalton passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Lawton. She was born on March 17, 1951 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to John Jacob and Mildred Schmidt. She grew up in Carnegie where she attended school. Johnetta moved to Lawton in 1975 and married David Dalton on September 8, 1979 in Carnegie. She worked civil service and medically retired as a GS-4. She loved music and was gifted at arts and crafts. Johnetta enjoyed taking adventurous cruises with her husband. She was a member of First Baptist East and her home was always open and she was a mother to all. Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; two sons and a daughter in law; John-David and Cara Dalton, of Woodenville, WA and Donald-James Dalton, of Lawton; and a host of loving friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald E. Schmidt. Memorial service for Johnetta Faye Dalton, 64, of Lawton will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at First Baptist East with Rev. Doug Passmore, officiating. A private family burial will be held at Alden Cemetery. |
