Anderegg Rites Sunday; Burial in Alden Cemetery

Services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Methodist church for Alfred Anderegg, Alden Pioneer farmer who died at 7 a.m. Thursday at his home. Rev. Brodace Elkinns, pastor of the Methodist church, preached the funeral sermon. He was assisted by Rev. C.D. Boese, pastor of the Greenfield Mennonite church.

Burial was in the Alden cemetery with arrangements in charge of Pitchers.

Born in Oberbipps, Switzerland February 3, 1868, Anderegg came to America with his parents in 1876. They located at Perrysburg, Ohio where he grew to young manhood.

He was converted at early age in the Luthern church. Later in life he united with the Methodist church at Alden.

Mr. Anderegg came to Oklahoma in 1909 and bought the farm near Alden where he lived until the time of his death.

He was married to Mary M. Tipton of Sulphur August 3, 1934.

Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Mary Anderegg, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Hayes, Las Animas, Colo. and Mrs. Lizzie Christian, Toledo, Ohio; and two brothers, Frank of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Ed of Las Animas, also four grandsons.

J.H. Anderegg Rites Tuesday At Alden

Final rites for J.H. Anderegg, 42, were held at the Alden Union church at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday following his death in a Carnegie hospital Sunday afternoon. Rev. Elmer Kelley, former pastor, was in charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. J.R. Reid and W.H. Evans. Burial was in the Alden cemetery.

Jacob Henry Anderegg was born at Fairgrove, Mo., July 25, 1898 and passed away at the age of 42 years and three months.

He was married to Edna Elizabeth Samuels January 27, 1924 and to them five children were born, one child dying in infancy.

Survivors are his wife and four sons, Elverne, Vanoy, Raymond and Lonnie Ray; his father, Alfred A. Anderegg; his stepmother and other relatives.

As a young man he united with the Methodist church and later joined the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Alden in which organization he was serving as a deacon at the time of his death.

George Anderegg Dies In Hospital

George Anderegg died at the Anadarko hospital at 7 o'clock Wednesday morning after an illness of six weeks. He had been in the hospital three weeks.

Rev. Jno. R. Morris will conduct the funeral services at the Presbyterian church, Alden, at 3 o'clock Thursday and interment will be made in the Alden cemetery.

George Anderegg was born in Pawnee county, Oklahoma, April 7, 1901, died April 4, 1934, aged 32 years, 11 months and 27 days.

His parents moved to the Alden community in 1904 and have resided there since. George is a graduate of the Carnegie highschool and the Anadarko Business College. He was connected with the Farmers Co-operative Association here as bookkeeper form 1925 to 1930.

He is survived by his father, Alfred Anderegg, and one brother, Jacob.

Andregg Child Dies

LeeVane J. Anderegg, little son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Andregg was born near Drumright October 26, 1924 and died in Oklahoma City Friday, February 3, 1928 aged 3 years, 3 months and 8 days.

He is survived by his parents, a younger brother and a host of other relatives

Funeral services were held at the M.E. church at Alden, 2:30 Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the Alden cemetery.
