Huntsville, Arkansas October 26, 2013 March 8, 1924 ~ October 26, 2013 Faye L. Henson, a resident of Huntsville, Arkansas; formerly of Sulphur, Oklahoma was born March 8, 1924 in Vian, Oklahoma to Wallace and Etta [Smith] Payne. She passed away Saturday October 26, 2013 at Huntsville, Arkansas at the age of 89 years 7 months and 18 days. Faye grew around Vian and Coweta, Oklahoma. She and James O. Henson were married on April 22, 1958 in Tijuana, Mexico. They lived in Antlers, Oklahoma for several years before moving to Sulphur in 1979. Faye moved to Huntsville, Arkansas in 2010 to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James O. Henson on July 30, 1979; a son: Jimmy Barton; a daughter: Norma Elsey; and 9 siblings. Survived by her Brother, James Monroe Payne, Stockton, CA; sister, Charlotta Barton, Pueblo, CO; 5 grandchildren & spouses, Sandra & Lemmie Bohannon, Huntsville, AR; and Mary & Wayne Green, Durant, OK; and Cheryl & Troy Cates, and Jimmy Elsey, and Michael Elsey,and Son-in-Law, Freddie Elsey, Huntsville, AR; 16 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday November 1, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Graveside at Albert-Oney Cemetery near Fort Cobb, OK officiated by James Monroe Payne. Services under the direction of DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home of Sulphur, OK. |
