Ralph Duane Willis of Calera, OK passed from this life on Saturday April 5, 2014 at the age of 64. Ralph was born on January 23, 1950 in Ventura, CA to parents Herman Willis and Gaylene (Smith) Willis. He married Patricia in Sherman, TX on October 3, 1969. Ralph attended Hollis High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was honorably discharged after 6 years of service. Ralph received 100 percent disability for his service during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Yarnaby Assembly of God. Ralph worked as a car salesman, he loved cars, guns, motorcycles and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Loyce Chambers and three brothers Robert Allen Willis, William Miller and Terry Miller.
Ralph is survived by his wife of the home, two daughters Bobbie Dee Barnett and husband Danny of Yanaby, and Chancey Brooks Williams and husband Phillip of Yarnaby, four grandchildren Christopher Tyler Willis and wife Emily, Zachary Hagen Collins, Colten Hunter Williams, and Kenadee Brooks Williams all of Yarnaby, one sister Iva Tucker of Silo, one brother Michael Miller of Yarnaby and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Yarnaby Cemetery with Bro. Rick Ring officiating. Family hour will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Brown’s Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Danny L. Barnett, Phillip Williams, Tyler Willis, Hagen Collins, Rocky Baker, and Jerry Taylor.
