Madge Sellers, a beloved family member, and resident of Yuba, Oklahoma, joined her Savior on Wednesday July 12, 2017, at the age of 98 years 9 months and 28 days. She was born in Clarksville, Texas on September 14, 1918 to A.D. and Lillian (Hendricks) Bledsaw. Madge married Hershel Sellers in Savoy, Texas on September 14, 1940.
Madge was a seamstress by trade working for numerous years at Diaper Jeans in Denison, Texas, and Bonham Manufacturing Co. She dedicated her life to caring for her home, and family. Madge enjoyed sewing, and gardening, and was a member of the Kemp Church of Christ.
Mrs. Sellers is survived by her son, Bobby Sellers and wife Melinda of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Peggy Norris and husband Raymond of Yuba, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Greg Sellers and wife Dawn of Garderville, Nevada, Chris Sellers and wife LeAnn of Ector, Texas, Rita Alexander and husband Keith of Yuba, Oklahoma, Briana Moody and husband Mike of Yuba, Oklahoma, and Anita Arrington and husband Woody of Yuba, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Andy Norris of Dallas, Texas, Aaron Moody of Calera, Oklahoma, Austin Moody of McKinney, Texas, James Moody of Yuba, Oklahoma; great-granddaughters, Katlyn Smith and husband Patrick of Yuba, Oklahoma, Tiffany Sellers of Arlington, Texas, and Raychel Alexander of Yuba, Oklahoma; and great-great grandson, Jack Moody of Sherman, Texas.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Sellers (May 4, 1989); parents, A.D. and Lillian Bledsaw; sisters, Evelyn Brown, Mabel Price, Lorene Miller, and Juanita Heinin; brothers, Rayburn and Oscar Bledsaw; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Family Hour will be from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday July 14th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A church service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday July 15th at the Kemp Church of Christ in Kemp. Interment will follow at the Yarnaby Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Seller’s grandsons.
