Pattsy "Pat" McDowell Manry

Pattsy “Pat” Manry a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday October 19, 2018 at the age of 80. She was born in Davidson, Oklahoma on November 16, 1937 to Thomas David McDowell and Laura Ann (Peugh) McDowell. Pattsy was married to Jim Manry on February 13, 1978 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Pattsy worked many years as a Secretary for Byran County District Two, which she retired from. Pattsy was a member of the Yarnaby Assembly of God in Yarnaby, Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished each one of them. Pattsy was also a wonderful cook, everyone will dearly miss her broccoli and rice casserole and her amazing homemade pies. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching TV especially The Incredible Dr. Pol. Pat was an amazing woman who had a way of making you laugh and giggle without even trying. She enjoyed taking care of her dogs: Grover and Sampson and her beloved Susie. She will be missed by many.

Mrs. Manry is survived by her son: Sammy Moss and wife Linda of Whitewright, Texas, “T” Tommy Moss Jr. and wife Dayna of Florida, and Jeff O’Dailey/Moss and husband Drew of Waupun, Wisconsin. Daughter: Glenna Smith and husband Nick of Yuba, Oklahoma. Brothers: Harold McDowell of Anaconda, Montana and Andrew McDowell and wife Elsie of Erick, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: LeaAnna Iqbal and husband Rashid of Bristow, Virginia, Laura Blunt and husband John of Logansport, Louisiana, Bethany Brown and husband Timothy of Clarksville, Tennessee, Kristen Moss of Redmond, Washington, Great-grandkids: Aliyah, Maliha, Megan, Trenton, Aaron, Alexis, Carter. Pattsy is also survived by many wonderful step-children, step grand-children, step-great grandchildren, and step-great-great grandchild Also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Manry was preceded in death by her parents Thomas David McDowell and Laura Ann (Peugh) McDowell, her husband Jim Manry, son Danny Moss, brothers: Herbert, Granville, Johnny, sisters: Louella, and Ruby, also her beloved dog Susie.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00PM Thursday October 25,2018 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Celebration of life will be held at Yarnaby Assembly of God with Brother Rick Ring in Yarnaby, Oklahoma Friday October 26, 2018 at 10:00AM. Following will be interment at Yarnaby Cemetery with Rashid Iqbal, John Blunt, Randy Smith, Russell Martin, Terry Bird, Lacey Bird, Justin Graham serving as pallbearers.
