Funeral services for Jim "Little Jim" Manry, 79, of Yuba, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Yarnaby Assembly of God in Yarnaby. Bro. Rick Ring will officiate.
He was born Monday, July 29, 1929, in Yuba to James Calvin and Bessie Nina (Mitchell) Manry. He married Pattsy Sue McDowell in Durant Feb. 13, 1978.
He was a member of the Yarnaby Assembly of God. He liked to hunt and fish and especially loved to be around his family.
He worked as a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, J. C. and Neal Manry, and two sisters, Pauline Clark and Dorothy Hoskins.
He is survived by his wife of Yuba; daughter Sheri Brookins of Denison, Texas; sons Jimmy Manry and Kenny Manry, both of Denison, Texas; step-daughter Glenna Smith and husband Nick of Yuba; step-sons Sammy Moss and wife Linda of Bonham, Texas, Tommy Moss Jr. and wife Dayna of Greenville, Texas, and Jeff Moss of Madison, Wis.; grandsons Michael Manry and wife JoLynn of Durant, Jason Brookins and wife Natalie of Sherman, Texas, Cory Manry and Issac Manry, both of Denison, Texas, and Kyle Manry of Indiana; granddaughters LeaAnna Iydal and husband Rashio of Fallschurch, Va., Laura Baker of Logansport, La., Bethany Moss of Clarksville, Tenn., Kristen Campbell of Van Buren, Ark., and Cara Manry of Indiana; brother Doyle Manry and wife Jewell of Hendrix; and sister Wanda Harris and husband Joel of Cartwright.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Moss, Randy Smith, Jerry Cheshier, Keith Alexander, Eddie Don Ervin and Danny Brookins. Honorary pallbearers will be Quinton Jones, Winford Alexander and Daylon Brakebill.
Burial will be in Yarnaby Cemetery in Yarnaby .
Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. today at Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
