Lucia Freida Grider, 80, of Yuba passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at her home. Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at First Baptist Church Yuba with Bro. Roger Speers and Bro. Marty Hutchings officiating. Burial will be in the Yarnaby Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service in Durant.
The Family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church Yuba Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
Lucia was born February 25, 1932, in Hanamon Township, IL, the daughter of Fred and Erue Knowles Harms.
She married Lawrence Jesse Grider on January 21, 1968 in Winterhaven, California. She and Lawrence moved to Yuba from California in 1968. She enjoyed quilting, puzzlebooks, cooking, and was a talented artist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Larry Martinez, parents and one brother and four sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Kelley McGee of Albany, Donna Krazan and husband Tom of Sanger, California, Linda Williams and husband Johnny of Fresno, California, Renee Delgadillo of Pico Rivera, California, Cynthia Lindsay of Lemore, California, Elladean Waldrum of Denison, Tx; Sons, Stephen Martinez of Napa, California, Jesse Grider of Sherman, Tx, Billy Grider of Sherman, Tx; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Russell Burnett, Daniel Howard, Terry Terrell, Calvin McGee, Tommy Allen, and Lee McGee. Honorary pallbearers are Jeffery Ellison and Jerry Don Cheshier.
