Barney Keith Dollar, 72, of Hendrix, Oklahoma passed away Saturday evening February 9, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
He was born September 22, 1939 in Yuba, Oklahoma to Dee Buford and Emma Bell Allen Dollar.
He was educated in Yuba schools and Married Helen Ruth Hyepock in 1989 in Durant, Oklahoma.
He was a self-employed Restaurant and Grocery Store owner and operated the Hendrix Cafe & Grocery until 2001 and Barney's Cafe in Bonham, Texas from 2004-2007. He was a lifelong Bryan County resident and a Member of the Kemp Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife on August 26, 2007, Brothers and Sisters Martha Putman, William "Cotton" Dollar, Edgar "Clark Gable" Dollar, Otis Dollar, Buford "Bug" Dollar, Victor "Vick" Dollar, Mary Ramsey, Polly Roberts and June Wingfield.
He is Survived by a Son Randy Keith Dollar and a Daughter Rose Ann Coleman both of Idabel, Oklahoma. Sisters Tootsie Martinez of Hendrix, PeeWee Manry of Sherman, Texas, Ludie Havik of Coffman, Texas, Dorothy Jean Low of California and Ruth Schultz of Conroe, Texas. Nephew Victor Eugene Dollar of Hendrix and Niece Penny Sandmann of Sherman, Texas. Special Friend and Caregiver Rudi Belt of Hendrix and Special Great-Niece Shawna Sandmann who cared for hime while in the Nursing Home. Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and other Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Barney Dollar will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon February 13, 2013 at the Kemp Baptist Church in Kemp, Oklahoma with Pastor Roger Speers officiating and his Niece Michelle Dollar Williams singing Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.
Burial will follow in the Yarnaby Cemetery . Pallbearers will be Eugene Dollar, Allan Dollar, Wesley Carta, Chris Sandmann, Kim Wing-field and Frank Wingfield.
Family night will be from 6-7 Tuesday evening at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert.
