Mary Mae Beshirs, 86 of Durant Ok passed away on January 9, 2019. She was born on December 8, 1932 in Vian, OK to Russell and Myrtle (Russell) Carter.
Mary was a resident of Bryan County for most of her life. She met and married Bobby Beshirs. She was a caretaker and housewife that really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, reading and she especially loved to cook for her children and grandchildren.
Mary was of the Baptist Faith.
Mary is preceded in death by her Parents; Russell and Myrtle Carter, Husband Bobby Beshirs, and three sons; Donnie Dukes, Jimmy Dukes and David Dukes.
Mary is survived by her daughter Judy Brown of Durant, OK, son Larry Dukes of Edmond, OK, son Sammie Dukes of Durant, OK, daughter Pamela Welborn of D-Lo, MS, son Vernon Dukes of Duncan, OK, son Ricky Dukes of Midwest City, OK and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2:00PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Monty Wood will conduct the service with interment to follow at Yarnaby Cemetery in Yarnaby, OK. Family Hour will be Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM. Pallbearers will be Davey Brown, Duston Heflin, Sammie Dukes JR, Tylor Brown, Landon Brown, Tyler Pelkey, and David Payne and honorary pallbearers will be Gary Crouch, Robert Dukes, and Shawn Dukes.
