Joe Dee Beshirs was born on April 13, 1948 in Princeton, Texas to RE and Nettie Freeman Beshirs. Joe passed from this life on November 4, 2018 in Colbert, Oklahoma at the age of 70.
Joe was a lifelong farmer and rancher. He married Carolyn Jane Dailey on November 8, 1977. They moved to Bryan County 22 years ago. Joe was of the Assembly of God Faith and he dearly loved his Lord and Savior and treasured his family.
Joe was preceded in death by his son, Joel D. Beshirs; parents, RE and Nettie Beshirs; 2 brothers; 1 sister and son in law.
Joe is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Jane Beshirs; children, Pamla Tyann Moore, Rodney Joe Beshirs and wife Tammy, Lecia Ilene Allen, Joe Dee Beshirs Jr., Sammie Gene Beshirs and wife Brandi, Christopher Dee Beshirs and Deretha Jane Meyers and husband Cord; daughter in law, Sherry R. Beshirs; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. JM and RA Beshirs will officiate. Interment will follow in Yarnaby Cemetery with Rodney Beshirs, Joe Dee Beshirs Jr., Sammie Beshirs, Cord Meyers, Caleb Beshirs and Buster Beshirs serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at brownsfuneralservice.com.
