Kathryn Gaylene Wells, 89, passed peacefully from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering faith. Known for her warm heart and gentle spirit, Gaylene filled her days with the things she treasured most games that sparked laughter, puzzles that challenged her mind, quilts stitched with care, and moments spent surrounded by the family she adored.
Born with a natural gift for nurturing others, Gaylene found joy in the simplest moments: baking treats to share with loved ones, offering a comforting word, or welcoming friends and family to gather around her table. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, and she cherished her time in church, where she found fellowship, strength, and purpose.
Gaylene is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Wells; her son, Ronnie Wells; her parents, George and Laura Branch; and her brothers, JT Davidson, Jerry Branch, and Vandene Branch. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Kimberly Wells-Snead, and Kimberly's husband, Doug Snead, who brought Gaylene immense pride and joy. She also leaves behind her loving niece, Laura Newth; nephews, Chuck and Steve Davidson; her sister-in-law, Jo Davidson; Mike Crocker, who was like a second son to her; and many cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends, each touched by her kindness, humor, and generosity.
Gaylene's life was one of quiet strength, heartfelt devotion, and enduring love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
