Lois Bridwell of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the age of 93 years 3 months and 12 days. She was born in Ruffe, Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 25, 1919 to Ernest and Julie (Ball) Fuller. Lois Fuller married Montie Bridwell in Beaver, Oklahoma on Thursday, July 24, 1947.
Lois owned and operated The Fashionette for over 20 years. She had a green thumb and loved to garden, raising beautiful vetegables and flowers. Lois enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. She had a gentle nature with cats and dogs. But she especially loved her granddogs and carrying her baby chicks in her pocket.
Mrs. Bridwell is survived by her daughter in law, Penny Bridwell of Bokchito, Oklahoma; sisters, Ellen Covington of Hurst, Texas and Billie Bledsoe of Sherman, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins; special friends, Estelle Fant, Winnie Fox and Linda Levins.
Mrs. Bridwell was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Julie Fuller; husband, Montie I. Bridwell; son, Montie D. Bridwell; brothers, Lloyd Fuller and Earl James Fuller; aunt, Lottie Killiam.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Wade Cemetery in Wade, Oklahoma with Rev. Scott Melton officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Mack Fuller, Roy Dean Fuller, Kelly Lynn, and Marvin Ingram. The family suggests that in lieu for flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Bridwell's memory to the Families Feeding Families at 314 E. Main, Durant, Oklahoma 74701.
