Barbara Lucille Beshirs of Achille, OK passed away on October 13, 2020 in Durant, OK at the age of 87. Barbara was born on April 27, 1933 in Yuba, OK to Eugene and mattie (Mansell) Duke.
A lifelong resident of Bryan County Barbara attended school in Durant and retired from Texas Instruments after 19 and half years. She attended the Colbert Church of Christ and she lived for the Lord all day every day. She enjoyed gardening, canning and she dearly treasure her family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Dail Malaney, Wayne Johnson and O.C. Beshirs; sons Jerry Malaney and Cecil Malaney; daughter Dwana Farrell and brother T.J. Duke and sisters Betty Bailey and Clorette Faulkenberry.
Barbara is survived by her children Treba Malaney and husband Duane Davenport, Barbara Cole and husband Vick, Willene Barkley and Dennis Malaney and wife Cindy; 27 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Lighthouse Church in Colbert. Pastor Joe Beshirs will officiate. Interment will follow in Wade Cemetery with Payton Boney, Remington Boney, Michael Conner, David Conner, Chad Cole and Greg Cole serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Rozelle III. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
