A beloved, beautiful soul left this earthly life and joined her Savior in Durant, Oklahoma on December 16, 2019 at the age of 75. Sheron was born to Robert Mackey and Nathleen Mae (Engholm) Mackey in Durant, Oklahoma on March 13, 1944. She married the love of her life, Mike Wyatt, on August 5, 1994 in Dallas, Texas. A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with David Kautt officiating. Her final resting place will be the Restland Cemetery in Silo, Oklahoma with Tony Nelson, Brad Aycock, Jeff Aycock, Mike Eichenlaub, David Hill and Duane Merideth as pallbearers.Sheron was a member of the First Baptist Church in Durant. She was a legal assistant for the Vic Terry Law Firm in Dallas, Texas for 20 years. She retired to Durant in 2006 to help care for her mother. Sheron enjoyed a good book and was known by her vibrant, outgoing personality and beautiful smile.
Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her daughter, Celeste January and husband Richard of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Alexandra Hill and husband David of Grapevine, Texas and Meagan January and fiancé Mike Eichenlaub, of Carrollton, Texas; sisters, Sondra Hughes and husband David of Durant, Oklahoma and Kelly Nelson and husband Tony of Durant, Oklahoma; and sister-in-law, Betty Holt, of Durant, Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family members.
Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nathleen Mackey, and husband, Mike Wyatt.
