Rebecca Lee Ann Rose Whittington entered this life on September 6, 1975 born to Benny and Wanda Arnold Rose and entered her Heavenly Home on August 2, 2015 at the age of 39 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Born and raised in Durant, Rebecca graduated from Rock Creek High School and later married Michael Whittington on July 2, 1999 at the First Baptist Church in Blue. They now reside in Norfork, Arkansas.
She was a dedicated homemaker and wife.
She dearly loved her dog "Shadow" and she enjoyed doing crafts and fishing.
Rebecca is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Michael Whittington of the home; mother and step father, Wanda and Curtis Mayo of Durant; step brothers, Eugene Mayo and Shelly Brown and Clint Mayo and wife Melissa all of Durant and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Benny Rose and grandparents, Carl and Juanita Arnold and Clifford and Betty Rose.
Services to celebrate Rebecca's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Keith Holt will officiate.
Interment will follow in Silo Restland Cemetery with Phillip Arnold II, Daren Bryant, Javen Arnold, Kevin Monjay, Justin Monjay and Damen Arnold serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
