Robert “Bobby” Dale Russell, age 67 passed away Sunday February 2nd, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bobby was born on February 19th, 1952 to Robert and Laquata Russell in Durant, Oklahoma.Bobby attended Durant Public Schools and worked for the city of Durant as a sanitation worker for 37 years. Bobby married the love of his life Patsy Faught on June 16th, 1978 in Durant. He was a good provider and family man.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Robert Isaac Russell and Laquata Joyce (Townesend) Russell as well as Lloyd Dean Thrift and Tana Sparkman.
Bobby is survived by his wife of the home Patsy Russell of Durant, OK., his children Troy Thrift of Durant, OK., Pam Sparkman and husband Dan of Gordonville, TX., Robert Russell for Durant, Ok., Laquata Jean Howard of Durant, OK., Christy Delgado of San Antonio, TX., Thomas Russell of Durant, OK., his siblings Wanda Evans of Tulsa, Ok., Sue Roberts and husband Gary of Tulsa, Ok., Lois Wright and husband Thomas of Savoy, TX., and Ronnie Dean Russell and wife Jaylen Of Stillwell, Ok. Bobby also leaves behind six grand children and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are Thursday February 6th at 2:00 PM at Browns Funeral Service in Durant, with burial to follow at Restland Cemetery in Silo, Oklahoma.Family will receive family and friends for a visitation on Wednesday February 5th, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00PM at Browns Funeral Service Durant, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service Durant.
