Yvonna Marlene Talley Luter

Yvonna Marlene Luter (Talley) was born on September 8, 1933, in Mead, Oklahoma to Marion Talley and Annie Talley. She passed from this life on March 30, 2025, in her home at the age of 91.

Yvonna married the love of her life, Karl Luter, on March 17th, 1954, in Long Beach, California. They were blessed with many years together until Karl's passing on October 13, 2021. Yvonna and Karl came to Bokchito, Oklahoma in 1985, from Stanton, California. Yvonna was a dedicated housewife and loving mother. She was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Yvonna enjoyed reading and loved taking trips to Shreveport with Karl. Yvonna loved her family deeply and will be missed by those who were lucky enough to have known her.

Yvonna is preceded in death by her husband, Karl Luter, parents, Marion and Annie Talley, and siblings, Irene, Lorene, Pauline, Geraline, Emmett, Alton, Clovis, Anna Sue, and Linda.

Yvonna is survived by her daughter's, Cheryl Luter of Bandera, Texas, and Karla Luter of Bandera, Texas, grandson, Matthew Luter of Bokchito, Oklahoma, granddaughter, Nicole McLeod of Garden Grove, California.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, at Restland Cemetery in Silo with Pastor Roger Speers officiating.

Services are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
