Linda Harris, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 68. Linda was born to Jack and Hazel Hedgecock on January 12, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma. She later married the love of her life Larry Harris on October 13, 1969 in DeQueen, Arkansas.
Linda she was a member of the Baptist Faith. Family was very important to Linda. She was a hard working and always provided for them. Linda worked at many places in Durant, Wal-Mart, The Dress Factory, Sewing Factory, and Durant Nursing Home. Along with working many places she was a homemaker providing for her own family.
Linda is survived by her husband Larry Harris of the home. Sons: Stacy Harris and wife Windy of Durant, Oklahoma, and William Harris of Durant, Oklahoma. Granddaughters: Kristi Knight and husband Michael of Calera, Oklahoma, Ashley Marcy and husband Dakota of Ada, Oklahoma. Great-grandchildren: Emma Knight, Rozlyn Marcy, Christopher Marcy. Brothers: Jackie Hedgecock and wife Barbara of Denison, Texas, Roger Hedgecock and wife Karen of Bokchito, Oklahoma. Sister, Mary Zoucha of Omaha, Nebraska, Carol Lawhorn and husband Kevin of Clearwater, Florida. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Hazel Hedgecock, and sister, Lisa Green.
Family Hour for Linda Harris will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6-7pm at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, December 11, 2020 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahomawith Bro. James Belcher. Internment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Silo, Oklahoma with, Lindsey Belcher, Christopher Marcy, Michael Knight, Dakota Marcy, Brandon Hendrix, and Jason Hendrix serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Junior Hendrix and Mark Harris.
