Ouida Sue Glenn, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life in Durant, Oklahoma on Saturday November 18, 2017 at the age of 77. She was born in Denison, Texas on August 19, 1940 to Millard and Veta (Cambron) Holland, Jr. Ouida married Clyde Glenn in Denison, Texas on August 22, 1959.
Ouida lovingly dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was a talented musician who blessed six different congregations during praise and worship with piano and organ accompaniment. Ouida was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed collecting dolls. She earned a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Mrs. Glenn is survived by her husband, Clyde of the home; sons, Jon Glenn and wife Tammy of Tucson, Arizona, Ron Glenn and wife Jennifer of Durant, Oklahoma, and Scott Glenn and wife Stephanie of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Kristi Morris and husband Jeff of Davis, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Christopher Glenn of Euless, Texas, Alex Glenn of Tucson, Arizona, Daniel Hanna of Durant, Oklahoma, Matthew Hanna of Durant, Oklahoma, Adam Hanna of Boston, Massachusetts, Jordan Glenn of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Kevin Glenn of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Kelsey Glenn of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kailey West of Sherman, Texas, Keaton West of Sherman, Texas, and Kinsleigh West of Davis, Oklahoma; and six great-grandchildren.Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Veta Holland; brother, Ronald Holland; and daughter, Lisa Glenn Hanna.
Family Hour will be from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday November 20th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A church service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday November 21st at the Silo Baptist Church in Silo with Bro. Scott Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Silo. Serving as pallbearers will be Ouida's family.
