Decie passed peacefully from this life the morning of July 22nd into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Decie was born in Gilmer, TX but has lived many years in Arizona, California, and Oklahoma and for the last few years back in Longview, Texas.
Decie is survived by seven children (and spouses): Steve Clark, Dennis Clark, Gary Clark (Lauree), Ricky Clark (Penny), Kathy Smith (Jim), Stacy Ross (Dan), Donnie Clark (Connie); Twenty-seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and daughter-in-law, Roxanne.
Decie lived her life for the Lord for many years. She has served in the church as piano player, Sunday School Teacher, Minister, youth leader, choir leader, ladies leader, and many more positions. Decie has held many jobs through her life, but the most important is wife, mother and Nana/Grandma. Decie loved her family only second to our Heavenly Father.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 28th at 10:00am. Location: Abundant Life 1307 N. Washington Ave. Durant, Ok 74701.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Horizon Church 1035 Jenny Street, Longview, TX 75604.
