Earnest (Junior) Brown a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away in Denison, Texas on Tuesday March 28, 2017 at the age of 89 years 3 months and 7 days. He was born on Wednesday December 21, 1927 in Denison, Texas to Earnest L. and Muriel Willie (Hudgins) Brown.
Earnest worked as a machinist for Double Seal in Ft. Worth for 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Earnest was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Texas. He liked to be outdoors, and fishing. Earnest especially enjoyed dancing with Norma.
Mr. Brown is survived by his companion, Norma Masoner of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Lewis Brown and wife Teresa of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, Martha Trent of Durant, Oklahoma and Wilma Swader and husband Ansel of Caddo, Oklahoma; daughter, Elizabeth Bruce of Nacona, Texas; son, Al Earnest Brown of Texas; step-daughters, Stefanie Werner of Texas and Punkin Brown of Texas.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Muriel Brown; daughter, Linda Brown; and brother, Vernon Leon Brown.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Restland Cemetery in Silo, Oklahoma with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating.
